Mandie Rovere

Mandie Rovere, LMT

With 20 years of experience, Mandie has enjoyed a diverse and well-rounded bodywork and teaching career thus far.  She graduated from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2004 and specializes in an integration of neuromuscular therapy and myofascial release, as well as Maya Abdominal Therapy.  Mandie especially enjoys treatment-oriented, client-tailored bodywork, making each session unique and effective.  She has held several instructor positions in numerous massage therapy schools over the last 15 years, including teaching Trigger Point Therapy, Reflexology, Therapeutic Massage, Orthopedic Massage, Physiology, and currently teaches Pain Management Techniques, Ethics and PathoPhys at the Boulder Massage Therapy Institute. Mandie finds it especially rewarding to share her passion for the body and bodywork with others in an educational setting.

Mandie strives to offer the ability to tailor each bodywork session using many years of experience, continued education trainings in Advanced Myofascial Techniques, Precision Neuromuscular Therapy, and Arvigo Maya Abdominal Therapy, and compassion and intention.  She also performs Prenatal Maya Abdominal Therapy, chair massage and is a first degree Reiki practitioner.  She has a knack for finding the “spots” that need to be found, and prefers to spend quality time on problem areas to completely relieve symptoms/pain and achieve goals, while still providing relaxation.

As a Colorado native, Mandie enjoys being outdoors, yoga, reading, folding origami, dancing, doing puzzles, training Muay Thai and spending time with her husband, two children, and big yellow Labrador Retriever.
